I don’t think we’d necessarily lose that many, if we don’t want or need to sell players. Can’t afford to lose the coach though. Eckert didn’t inherit a squad full of outstanding players imo, he found a way to build a team and get the best out of a bunch of individuals who were almost all struggling. Getting Peretz in got us over the line too tbf.
Is there any chance of us being able to sign Peretz permanently?

I really, really, really don't get this mentality. Tonda beat Fulham, Arsenal and nearly Man City with a Championship squad. I'm very keen to see what he could with an improved squad in the PL.
Except all of those fielded their second 11 pretty much. I know City had to roll out their big guns but they still beat us

Probably followed by the summer before. Yes mistakes were made, but we also signed Scienza, Azaz, Jander and Fellows. No chance would we be where we are without them.

The fact we got over £100m for Fernandes, Dibling & Sulemana is also incredible business looking back.

Transfers certainly seem to have improved since Spors took control of them.
Dibling what’s he doing. How’s he doing at Everton?

And? Arsenal and City's so called "reserves" are better than most PL sides first teams. My point still stands.
