Nick Woltemade (remember him?) scored a killer penalty in the reverse fixture in September.

We have a good chance here, they'll be knackered from their semi final second leg on Thursday against Villa, and they're basically safe right now as Spurs won't get to 39 points.

Comfortable defeat. Brighton should’ve got at least a point and Howe is picking championship try hards because we don’t have a plan beyond running a lot.

Now we’re safe I would take defeats if it meant they woke up and realised how limited Howe is and how damaging it will be to just stick fingers in ears to keep going.

No, we deserved to beat a team that had won six of their last eight games. Best if you keep facts out of the points you make.

So Minteh should have scored (but didn’t) but no reference to Osula having two very good chances or Wissa’s miss. The limited EH who has managed to help the Club get CL qualification two out of his four full seasons. The limited EH who managed to help the Club win a major domestic trophy for the first time in seventy years.

In ignoring facts you defeat your own argument reducing it to an entitled whine.

The manager is responsible for results, so if we win Howe gets the credit, and if we lose Howe gets the blame.

It's very simple, but so many don't have the integrity to follow a basic principle win, lose, or draw, because they have an agenda.

We beat Brighton, Howe picked a bold starting 11, and it worked... He also brought on Barnes who played well, and scored a goal.

It's a gripe I have when we lose, so I have to call it out when I see the other faction trying to weasel out of it too.

Round and round we go. Minteh missed, Baleba hit the bar, Pope nearly gifted them a goal, they controlled the majority of the game and seem to feel aggrieved at not getting anything. Just because we did win doesn’t mean it was deserved. A lot of our play was stuff we’ve seen over and over again, particularly the second half.

What’s so strange is why we’ve got to ignore what is on display. It baffles me that Eddie Howe seems to come first.

We disagree.

Ignore the possession stats as it's not how much of the ball you have but rather what you do with it when you have it. Then look at Xg and our's is way better.

Put it a different way. They may have had most of the ball but we made much better use of it when we had it than they did when they had it.

Yes, both teams had chances but again the game isn't about chances it's about goals and we won that one 3-1.

Saturday 's display and result was good and a positive but you try, and succeed, to manage to give a negative spin on it. Brighton are a good team and given their past few results and given our's that game should only be taken as a good result. As opposed to knocking the team and EH simply because that's your agenda, why not give some credit when it's earned?

Who gives a fig really? We arent being relegated, Howe is staying. Ideally a win but not arsed as want season to end and we can then pretend to think England can go far in the world cup.

Minteh did miss a sitter but you’re conveniently leaving out the big chances missed by Osula x2 and Botman in the game that could have ended the contest in the first half, not to mention the miss by Wissa late on that was nearly as bad as Minteh’s. Popes blunders did sum up our need for a top keeper but their shot that hit the bar whilst good it just wasn’t good enough. Teams try to restrict the opposition to shots from distance which that was and as many say in coaching hitting the bar is a miss.

Regardless of the Brighton game, we’ve got to try and build momentum and finish in the top 8/ European Places. Win is a win and winning breeds confidence, after a tough run we need to back that up with a result against Forest who’ll hopefully have half an eye on a final and be knackered from a mid week game.

Hopefully they have a bruising 90 minutes against villa followed be extra time and penalties, they win that so have a eye on the final, so play their kids against us. While we have a good week on the training ground, everyone fit, raring to go, firing on all cylinders ready to scrap a 1 goal victory to aid our last minute Howe miracle of 4 wins on the bounce and european qualification.
