I started watching Southland as its just come on Netflix. I watched the first series or so when it was first out. But I decided to Google was the series finished or did it get cancelled.

I read it got cancelled and ended on a cliffhanger! So I've stopped watching!

Watched the netflix version of man on fire. Its been years since I watched the film but I feel like they dialled down on the torture and vengeance side? Was ok nothing great but worth a go.

For anyone who enjoys still game, two doors down have you tried Only Child. Not bad for easy to watch comedy tv series.

Couple of Apple TV recommendations, Widow's Bay is great, comedy horror that manages to do both very well. Stephen King vibes.

Only seen the first episode but Cape Feare is off to a strong start, I was skeptical because it didn't seem like something that needed another adaptation but it looks like it's going to stand on its own. Javier Bardem steals every scene same as De Niro did.

Agree with both of those. The mayor character was a hit for me straight away in widows bay but then Patricia did Patricia things :emoticon-0102-bigsm :emoticon-0102-bigsm :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Yeah Matthew Rhys as the mayor has been cracking me up but it's a great bunch of characters overall. The episode where he accidentally gets high is one of the funniest things I've seen recently.

They’ve somehow balanced him right, funny but also someone you can take seriously. Glad it’s getting some buzz around it

Almost never works the horror/comedy mix, at least not so it's equally effective at both, but they've pulled it off with this one.

I came late to the party, but I'm about to start series 5 of Yellowstone. Cracking stuff. Slow at times, but f**k when it kicks off it kicks off. I'll be starting the prequels after that then Dutton Ranch straight after. Not bothering with Marshalls because Kayce and his lass bore the **** out of me.

Watched Abbott elementary on Disney+ comedy set in a school, might not be to everyone’s liking but something to watch in the bg

Still haven't got around to watching the last series. I have multiple tv series qhere I watched a few series then never went back to it.

Mainly cause I struggle to remember wtf was going on!

we’ve watched all the marshalls and can safely say we don’t think this will be continued. Dutton ranch though works very well. Rip and Beth man !

Just finished Yellowstone. Good telly.

Started 1883 last night, and will follow the same line of "good telly".

Now that the prequels and Yellowstone are all out, there is an order to watch them in to gain a better understanding.

Yellowstone series 1-4
Then All of 1883
Then back to Yellowstone series 5

Not majorly important, but some of the stuff mentioned and narrated by Elsa Dutton in the last series makes a tad more sense if you're watching it for the first time.
