So, we managed to get the 4th place that means home advantage in the second leg.

What a run we are on. Stuff of dreams, and far, far better than when we were last in the Championship under you know who.

Players have been immense. All of them. And I haven't given up hope with Tom Fellows - there is a player in there...

We are yet to beat a side this season that makes up the play-off teams.

Too nervous to discuss.

More details when we get ref's and stuff.

I'm not sure Tonda will go for this, but the game plan should be to sit in and hit them on the break. That's what they've really struggled against with the lower placed teams. They generally do much better when teams are more open to 'playing football'. First legs are generally cagey anyway.

Got my ticket for the home game. Can't wait! OWTS

Greet run Billy, get us over the line into the promised land of the premiership. It must be said there are other descriptions of the EPL somewhat less flattering.

It's pretty stupid that season ticket holders mates get priority over people that actually attend games throughout the season.

Im a member so will be fine, but its not right that you can get a ticket for big games just because your mate has a season ticket.
They don't do they?

Yeah, the day after members it opens to season ticket holders to buy up to 2 additional tickets, then general sale the next day if any remain, which they wont.

No window for fans that arent members but do attend games when they can.
Sorry misread your post, thought you meant that was before members.

Yeah that's not great but I suspect they'll all go to members anyway.

The league fixture at the Riversude was the start of my infamous Tonda In thread that is the real reason for our second half performance in the league. Seem to recall that we missed a few chances in the first half, conceded early in the second and completely fell to pieces.

I’d take any result here that is no more than Saints being a goal down going into the second leg. Think we would have a great chance then

Is it arrogant to say I’d be disappointed going into the second leg a goal down?

Probably, I think a narrow loss would be fine and I’d back us to beat them at home.

I just remember our game against them at the Riverside and they looked like a very good side. Pretty sure they had been on a terrible run when we played them as well. They seem to blow hot and cold but when they are hot they could beat any team in this division, hopefully they aren’t at it when we play them and we don’t end up needing to win by 3 or something in the second leg

I dont think it can ever be arrogant to be disappointed at losing a game, especially not against a side in your division.

I'd be worried if the players would be anything other than disappointed if they were to lose the first leg.

I think we'll lose this, but if only by one goal still got a chance of going through.

Do have a feeling we won't make the final though as reckon we might have peaked a bit early. Not looked as good since the Wrexham game.

But we've still got results and nearly beat City. This will be the first time in weeks that we have all week to prepare for the game. I'm actually more confident this time round than I was 2 years ago when we won the play offs!
