Probably opening myself up for a 'local dining possibilities post 9pm' attack here, but I thought the Norwich fans were terrible today.

Travelled in numbers but none of the end of season shenanigans you often see, apart from the brief minute after their goal, they were quiet as -probably relatively speaking, the quietest I've seen.
I agree. They also appeared to be congratulating the City fans on the pitch at one point before the schooligans started gobbing off and goading them.

What is deal with Hughes then, has he not been playing due to injury or tactics , as he did well today , was he played today as a last resort risk? Or could he have played all along ? as if he did play more we might not have needed today’s drama . Hope he is able to manage the play offs

I think the club were resting him as he has been playing with a hernia that requires surgery in the summer. He probably played today as it was all or nothing. Both him and Slater told BBC Humberside that they were ready to play if needed.

Gotta start hughes and mcnair v millwall?
I think that’s our best centre-back pairing. I don’t mind Egan but I think his lack of pace and tendency to hoof the ball back to the opposition under little pressure kills us at times. McNair’s the closest thing we have to Alfie Jones. That calmness on the ball without being too flashy is underrated.

I find anyone over the age of 12 running on the pitch a bit cringey to be fair. Pitches are for players, coaches, refs and squirrels.
Can't be helped can it. It's natural. However, the bloke taking snaps of his young daughter standing on the south stand pen spot, just about put the tin lid on it. Then the youths doing sliding tackles....No doubt if Hull lose tomorrow that will be the excuse.

Need to try and get that Monday night off work but I can't see it happening.

Hoping we go into it with a 5-0 advantage as I’m taking my daughter out to something on the Monday <laugh>

Better than the other tie I’d have missed both games.

Exams start that week for me so need to hopefully get the afternoon off work to head down (and then just be hella tired on the Tuesday)

If Tiger Travel leaves too early, I may have to train down then and pay for TT just to come back (as last train stops at Doncaster).

Thank you Tigers for giving me, and presumable other City fans who are currently unwell a massive tonic. I lay on the sofa watching the game on Sky and the team’s shear determination (and the result) gave me a massive boost. As usual the Sky commentators were a massive pair of cockwombles who presumably were bought into the Hollywood narrative, or just blatantly anti Hull. Sky should sack them.
Come on you Tigers!!!!!
Tim, sorry you are unwell. It was the same for me in Jan 25. It’s amazing how a win can lift your spirits. Hope today made you smile. Take care. UTT.
