Balls of steel passing that penno down the middle.

Out on his feet at the end but still giving his all.
He led today.

Took the game by the scruff second half and dragged us through it. He was winning everything aerially coming towards him, pulling free kick after free kick from the Norwich back 4, scored the two goals, screaming at the boys, and as soon as the Wrexham game finished and the ball was out of play, he ran around our team telling them it was over in Wales and to keep calm and see it out.

He was doing it in the warmup in shooting practice too. He missed one of his shots and started shouting at the other players to lay him off for more shots and ended up taking 7-8 when they were doing 2 each at a time until that point.

Ok first things first. Best atmosphere I’ve experienced at the KCom for a long time, the crowd really played a massive part today, shame it can’t be like that more often.

Unfortunately, for me, we won that game despite Sergei not because of him and why he persists in the Crooks DM/ Gelhardt no10 nonsense is beyond me. First half passing accuracy was 58% - Wtaf. And we looked miles off it. Again. Coupled with the ridiculous decision to risk Matazo’s career I just don’t know what to think about him because despite everything we’re in the playoffs. Answers on a postcard.
Dear Ehab.
Just checked into the playoffs.
Weather ok
Hotel could be better but the beers ok.

See you in a week

Sergei

What if he had not persisted with what he wanted to do, we may not be in the playoffs you can think he is like all managers and does make mistakes but he has done enough to get us to where the club wanted to be and even when we fell out of the playoffs he got us back in them again, and we are in the playoffs because of sergei.
The odd punctuation mark would make that so much more intelligible.

Yes they did, shame our captain ignored everybody that stayed, not impressed with him at all.
He headed to some people he knew in the West stand and then was off down the tunnel yeah.

The rest were out there singing and dancing in front of the North for a good 10 minutes after the lap of honour.

It was his brothers, Mrs and the rest of his family, he did the walk round the pitch then did go back over to the north stand, but his lad wasn't dealing with it great so he was staying with him

'Mission complete!' - Hull reaction

Hull City manager Sergej Jakirovic told BBC Radio Humberside:

"It's a great feeling, especially after 90 or 96 minutes. We saw Wrexham didn't beat Middlesbrough and it was enough to win 2-1.

"It is emotional for us because we have achieved something our chairman has dreamt about. For the lads as well, I'm very proud of them because they have shown a great mentality.

"In my life I've been out of the comfort zone, I don't like being in the comfort zone. You have to chase your dreams, your ambitions when you want to be successful.

"It was not easy to play this game as we needed a win and for example, after 10 or 15 minutes we were eighth in the table.

"But OK, this is football, everything is possible and we gave everything to win this game. Mission complete!"

Yes, that was a proper captains performance. He needs to be given it next season 100%. Also gives him more leeway to be gobby with the ref.

Whatever happened today it's been a good season, so I was kind of thinking whatever happens it's only a game. Oddly enough when they went ahead I still fancied us to get back in it. I didn't expect it so quickly, though. From then on it could have gone anyway...When the second went in I was just praying for the time to pass as quickly as possible and for us to hold on....

Ps. I wish stadium boffs would get the wifi sorted/improved. It's dire.
