Is that Mclean issue the one they have been managing all season?
According to PC it's a minor issue that should be cleared up in a few days and he'll be fine for Scotland at the World Cup. As Suffolk says, PC called it 'blocked back' but he might have meant 'locked back' pain:

"Locked back pain, often caused by acute facet joint locking or severe muscle spasms, creates sudden, sharp, and debilitating pain, frequently leaving you "stuck" in one position. It is a protective, reflexive spasm often triggered by simple movements like bending or twisting. Immediate care involves gentle movement, pain relief, and seeking professional help if it persists."

I reckon he needs a bit of yoga.

We'll presumably have some of our fans complaining about starting Forson and Wright. If I recall correctly it's basically illegal and a sign of the poor morals of our club...?
I think the poor morals of our club pale into insignificance when you read of Wrexham using taxpayers money to resurface their playing surface. Proper Ted Lasso Hollywood morals

Forson has started games at RW on merit and compared to Gibbs or Maghoma is it a massive downgrade in the RW. McLean is injured and Wright is effectively the understudy to McLean which is why his game time has been limited. If it were Mattsson injured I’m sure it would have been Field instead of Wright to cover the defensive side of the game. It’s not like we’ve chucked Baumann in from the youth team for this game - I did wonder if he would make the bench with this being the end of Fields loan

Mattsson wins a good slide tackle and gets a foul given against him.

Then a late slide into Mattsson under a min later and nothing given
