If you're going to include all current ex-Saints', then I think it has to be Bale - he's just that good. But in all honestly, I wouldn't mind Crouch back.
I wouldn't want anyone here that doesn't want to be here. If we were to get in a loan player it would be someone that wants to impress us and get on the bus, not a player that uses us as a platform to get back into their team. However Bale or Chambo would be lovely.
Bale doesn't play in a position we need to strengthen in, good as he is. AOC does, however. I would have him back on just about any terms.
i meant to only poll the 4 at the top. they are realistic opportunities - crouch has only just moved to stoke and i think bale is a little out of our price range
People have seriously voted Wayne Bridge? Like that's a position we need to strengthen? It's clearly Chamberlain.
Would love to see Chamberlain back here as he was brilliant for us, Walcott could be the pacey striker that we need but that isn't going to happen. James Beattie could be capable of being a back up target man to Rickie if he were to get injured.
I do not think Chamberlain is likely with the African Cup of Nations around the corner. Bridge will leave City in January but will prob go to West Ham or someone like that who can pay higher wages.
Apparently Wenger is considering bringing Bridge to Arsenal, due to injuries to Gibbs and Santos (I think Santos in particular has a fairly long-term injury).
