Just been reading about your 250kg German SC250 bomb found in the Plymouth Southway area.

Because of the dodgy fuse on it they will be evacuating 1200 homes before dealing with it.

There is probably more around the Plymouth area just waiting to be found.......even though I was only six at the time I can remember the devastation around when mum used to visit Embankment road at the end of the war.

Bomb sorted.......homeowners allowed back....hope there is no damage.
 
It's been a tough week in Plymouth - North Hill - a major route into town - was closed both ways this morning. It follows a crash involving teenager on an electric bike last night. Those things are lethal. So quick with no protection.

Yes plym its been so disruptive to teh area and our offoces arew in Darklake park, also had jobs on in Bird cage farm top of southway.

I live at the top on Tavistock road, neighbours said they heard the balst today and shook some properties at least its done no harm done or injusies ..

Any thing electric is quick, look at the cars, we have 4 VW buzz vans and our rapid, the Belingos not so , but from take off they are quick its crazy. like driving in go carts.. but cheap to run, going to use one this weekend to go to london,, see how it does on the Charge.,. get 293 in the Buzz but realistic 245. get me near by charge up and back .. good for around the local area no cost
 
It’s the Miami Grand Prix this weekend.

I’m surprised Trump hasn’t turned up. Perhaps it’s because the new Cadillac team are trailing far behind all those useless European engineering outfits.
 
Given Trump’s dangerous withdrawal of troops from Germany, there was an interesting piece in the Times yesterday. Ostensibly it was about British Aerospace’s success in building armoured fighting vehicles (basically an armoured personnel carrier with a 40mm canon on top) in its subsidiary in Sweden. They can’t knock these out quickly enough as they’ve been very successful against the Russians in Ukraine. There’s not much better recommendation than that for NATO countries.

The piece compared this success with the much more expensive Ajax project in which the MOD is trying unsuccessfully to develop a heavily modified version of an American vehicle with American firm General Dynamics. Its greatest claim to fame so far is making its occupants very ill due to high levels of noise and vibration.

I’m sure BAe would be happy to build their vehicle in the UK under licence and it would provide a proven, cheaper vehicle quickly. I presume General Dynamics failure to produce a workable vehicle would allow for cancellation without penalty and perhaps even provide for compensation.

If Trump continues to act like a child, making that switch seems like a no-brainer.

Who would have thought that Drone technology would have changed the face of warfare so dramatically......imagine being on the battle field and being personally hunted down by a drone......warfare without have to lose men on the battle front has been expertly developed by the Ukraines and now they can export it to other situations to tgeir finacial benefit.
 
The most dangerous "politician".....( I use that term rather loosely)....is regarding this nutter leading the Green Party....Zack Polanski.....a mouth without a turn-off switch.
 
But how could the Green Party ever consider such a fruit and nut case to lead a so called environmental leaning party.

Huh huh......Watford have sacked their manager Ed Still after only three months.........would they come back for an improving Cleverley.
