I'm not ashamed of my identity bro, white British, CofE and old.

Consider myself as human very lucky to be born here and not to have to go through the traumas seen in many parts of the world.

Grateful for the water I drink and the food I'm able to eat, have electricity that enables us to have light and hot water, luxuries that many people in life rarely get to experience, and all because I was simply born here.

Luxuries that some people in Ukraine are deprived of because of war, along with Gaza, Sudan and any others people may wish to name.

Far from it, no one attacks my religion, no one attacks the colour of my skin, I don't fly flags, but I respect all flags in the same manner, St George and Jack included. I'm not particurlarly happy with Jacks stuck half way up a lamp-post as if it's flying at half mast, which is quite insulting if anything. Dangling from a lamp-post like a worn dirty piece of rag is not patriotic. I also don't want to see graffiti on mini roundabouts, if someone does something that looks a piece of art then I'm tolerant and accept it's someones artistic expression, a StG on a mini roundabout is not art lol. I express how I feel and no one stops me doing that, as long as I do it with respect.

Nowt wrong with our flags, but don't particularly want one hanging from my house, do I have to buy some empty beer cans dangling on a string underneath it, to protect my culture and prove how English I am.
