I think it would be a good call to bench Millar and have Joseph on the left. He fires up the team and crowd with his non-stop energy, and creates the space for Giles to fire in those crosses which were so devastating early in the season. We need a three-man midfield. I’d also like to see Hughes risked instead of Ajayi. Despite his recent mistakes ( possibly due to injury) Hughes is still possibly our best central defender - certainly our best blocker. And Ajayi and Gelhardt were both right off it v Charlton. And if we do get in the play offs on goal difference, goals scored or head to head, it will be Joseph’s lung busting run to stop Charlton’s third goal which will have earned it.Pandur

Do itI almost bought a ticket just now, I was so tempted to do it, but managed to talk myself out of it, it doesn’t help when the wife’s telling me to do it & giving me ideas!

If Ajayi isn't to start I'd rather see McNair there. Hughes is too much of a risk imo.Pandur

I do wonder why McNair doesn't start more. He seems the least error-prone of our centre backs to me, and he has a lovely set piece delivery too.If Ajayi isn't to start I'd rather see McNair there. Hughes is too much of a risk imo.
Not silly risks though. Measured risks are ok.I'm expecting Wrexham NOT to beat Boro - so I do think a win would be enough.
I am expecting Derby to beat Sheff Utd, a draw wouldn't be enough.
Regardless, City have to leave it all out on the pitch. Time to take risks and go for it.
And he isn't half-injured.I do wonder why McNair doesn't start more. He seems the least error-prone of our centre backs to me, and he has a lovely set piece delivery too.
Does he make the fewest errors because he doesn’t play so much? I like him and I hope he is now ahead of Ajayi, btw.I do wonder why McNair doesn't start more. He seems the least error-prone of our centre backs to me, and he has a lovely set piece delivery too.
