In east London near Liverpool Street station / Shoreditch yes
No where else in London….all for the ****er banker market
Used to go for 'working lunches' on expenses at the Queen Anne in Vauxhall in the early nineties.
There was one near our office in Uxbridge hight street which was a bit of a dive and where strippers whose hearts weren't in it anymore performed.
The silences between the songs they'd put on the jukebox for their sets were always a bit awkward.

There was a stripper on and she was beckoning guys to go on the stage with her but everybody refused.
Reminds me of a trip to Amsterdam in the 80s'!!! Went to this show (cough). There were a few scousers in there. Stripper got this geezer out of his seat and into a chair on the stage. He was laughing and smiling, until this lady came on dressed as Miss Piggy...She nearly squashed the poor geezer..

They are found in remote, seedy seaside towns Peter, try the Ocean Club in Hornsea old boy, nod nod wink wink.
Never heard of that

Anyone remember Blondie and Angelina ? Used to do the pubs n clubs in hull?
All chip in and they did erm More….

Late 80’s early 90’s

Looking back can’t really believe that used to happen a lot <laugh>

One night I went to a pub in Kentish Town
There was a stripper on and she was beckoning guys to go on the stage with her but everybody refused.
There was this little chinese guy that would shout out: "Go on!" to all the guys.
Everybody was laughing at him.
Eventually the stripper beckoned him to go on the stage. He looked terrified! Everybody in the room shouted "Go on!" to him.
She came off the stage and grabbed his hand and pulled him onto the stage. She got him to lay down and jumped on top of him and was wriggling around. He was horrified. The crowd were going crazy.
When she let him go he rushed out the pub as quick as he could.

The only recollection I have from the Hoffenbraus days is the stripper I saw had more hair down below then Phil Lynott had on his head ! Would have made a fortune if I'd have taken some clippers !
I got taken there by my boss one lunchtime when I was 17 and all I can remember is that it was really seedy and I was terrified that someone who knew me would see me going in or out.

Just hope we go out fighting, after we equalised against Leicester I expected a 20 min assault on their goal - I think we only had 1 chance , a points no good today I want to see us throw everything at them and if it’s not enough in the end then fair enough .
The threat went when Millar came off .
