A draw, which means we now only need 4 points from the 3 games
So now we can afford one win and one draw and we're up!
So what do we hope for from the FA Cup SF between Southampton and Man City?A long slog of a match to wear them out or a comfortable win for Southampton (yeah right!) so they're still hungover!
Southampton to win on penalties after a gruelling match is probably the best result for us. I actually hope they beat Man City regardless - not in that it’ll benefit us or impact the game on Tuesday, but I just don’t want to see Man City win another treble.
In my eyes, Tuesday is a free hit for us. Field a second string side, rest the star players (particularly given how much they’ve played over the last few weeks), and focus on getting the win at Portman Road over a QPR team on the beach.

A few observations about the end of Season:
4 of the five promotion/relegation spots are in line with goal difference.
Sheffield Wednesday's points deduction exactly equals their points won tally and minus 60 GD is woeful.
Without their points deduction Leicester would have survived so it was a most effective punishment.
A vocal minority of Millwall fans hold the deluded conspiracy view that we were gifted promotion by referees awarding us an unfair number of penalties (because the FA want us in the PL not them!!?)
