Sounds like a case again of "too little, too late". What a horrible way to be closing out our season.
But of course, "Ronald's goal was his fifth of the season but first in 41 appearances" helping out a charity case again.

Well we didn't deserve anything from that, but that was a scandalous decision for the penalty....
What I don't get is the ref has to be 100% sure. He has to be 100% sure it's on the other side of the line. If in doubt, you don't give it.

And yet, he apparently sees something which no one else in the world saw.

Sat in SA Road stand for first time for decades. Bland. Ground half empty, tube strike and meaningless game. Half cut so the game passed quickly, thankfully. Only big concern was how often young Smith was beaten for pace after he came on, though obviously wasn’t a penalty.

Meh

Crap performance & penalty was a joke decision, no one really stood & maybe only Edwards, Morgan & Vale very poor, Poku injury again & another made of glass, where is this geezer we signed from Coventry? Fcuking joke

Cook slips and takes out ND. They score

Walsh saves us with a double save

Poku hamstring goes.

Bring on the cavalry in 2nd half.

The cavalry improves us.

The ref gives a ridiculous penalty...which was from the other end of the ground clearly outside the penalty ( poor smith..2 appearances and 2 penalties)

We score...the ref pulls back a good attack to book someone for something.

Really sad for Cook on his last appearance
Really sad for Smith on his second
Really sad for Poku..on his 3rd hamstring.

Morgan Adamson Hayden Kolli were really poor.

Only positive for me was Walsh...who saved us multiple times.

Goodnight

Just watched highlights again, penalty is one of the worst decisions i have ever seen over 45 yrs of watching footy, a good yard outside the box. Luckily we have zero to play for

Absolutely nowhere near the line, god knows what sort of view he had there...I thought RND did well and at least put in a professional effort...some of the others need to be reminded the season hasn't finished and they're still being paid

That penalty decision still beggars belief this morning..... he's 10 yards away from the tackle, it's obviously a foul, but surely he can see that contact is a yard outside the penalty area.... he awards the penalty straight away and then seeks confirmation from the linesman on that side of the ground who's 50 yards away that penalty is the correct decision......

I'll add we are so soft that we didn't even argue the decision, they should have pointed out to him where contact was, there would have been marks on the turf to show him......

We still didn't deserve anything from that game, I was impressed with Swansea, they moved the ball well, and got players forward, we were over run in midfield....
