Not sure what Joseph has done to be a staple on the bench these days, and not getting on until late in the game. Especially when Millar isn't pulling up any trees.
Totally agree, totally unfair on him, start him then if we have to bring Miller on.
Crooks and Lumberstrum in midfield worries the life out of me.
Hard to be positive although they did play at the blunts and we should have been 3 up by half time, then it all went wrong.
Is tonight the night we click again and get the needed win or do we keep faltering and say goodbye to the play offs.
Hold tight

Jacob set back in training return unknown.... ??.... on the bench...

The stat someone posted on points per game with Joseph starting as opposed to not just astounds me...

Hopefully Giles starting means Millar has more options than to shoot optimistically from 20 yards.

Joseph is a victim of If's.

If Millar clicks then we look an attacking force.

If Gelhardt clicks then we can score from anywhere.

If McBurnie clicks then he's slotting home at will.

If Crooks clicks then we power on through.

If they don't click then Joseph gets 15 or 20 minutes to nick it.

Positives; great to see the return of Giles & Slater. No Amir? Hope I’m wrong, but that midfield is too pedestrian with Lunny & Crooks, particularly when they’ve got a young whippet in their side :emoticon-0104-surpr I’d rather have gone **** or bust & started tonight with Giles and Slater in there. UTT

Let's see - they have won 1 game in 17, the players aren't interested and they have all asked their agents to get them a move. We are chasing a play off place. Only conclusion is 2-0 to Lesta.
That said, our midfield looks far from convincing and I would have started Joseph instead of MIllar

The hope I’m clinging to is that I always think Millar plays better with Giles behind him.

Perhaps, just perhaps Slater isn't as fit as the gaffer is making out, and Amir is injured, not a lot of options left tbh, and yup, it does look a very immobile midfield, let's see how it plays out then save the inquest for after the game, certainly plenty of experience in there at least !
