I’d read there were no relegation clauses in their current contracts from PL to Champ. No idea how true but crazy if some of them are gonna be L1 on PL wages.
Well, I wonder which version of the City side will turn up this evening? A much needed win is required, fingers crossed it happens.
If they had relegated clauses in the contract that saw a drop after coming down to the champ, then they will still have that same clause this season unless they have signed a new contract which doesn't have one in

Fair enough, it's not something I've taken much notice of TBF!
In this day and age it's beyond belief with the wages players get that a club hasn't put them in.
Apparently they learned their lesson last time and there are relegation clauses in all the contracts of more recently signed players, it's expected that their wage bill automatically drop by 30-40% next season, then it will obviously drop further when players leave.
Have we really dipped that badly. Looked at Coral the other day and we are still favourites for the play offs at 4/9.
