Yes but a few weeks ago we were 6 points clear.

Of course we’d have taken 7th/8th at the start of the season but you wouldn’t have at the end of Feb. Things change.
No team gets promoted in Feb. It’s April that usually does the job.

A very disappointing result and performance, particularly second half. It's clear the midfield is, and has been, our problem area.

Crooks playing deeper with Amir doesn't work, I thought when Collyer came in and played very well against Coventry, we had found an alternative to Slater, who incidently has been a big miss since being out. But Collyer seems to be like delicate China, easily broken.

We need to start finding some form quickly, let's hope with Slater & Gilo back, we can get the balance of the team better again.

As it has been said all we need to do is match both Derby & Wrexham's results, but we need to find a way of winning at Lesta, which will also give the team a psychological boost for the remaining game.
??
Slater isn't back!
Might be for play offs if we make it that far.

Belloumi getting a lot of nods on the MotM thread.
Both he and Millar were lively. Again.
BUT, if we're going to continue playing with 2 proper wingers, there surely has to be much more end product from them, be that goals, assists, decent crosses. Week after week there isn't and we're wasting so many promising positions. Frustrating.

I obviously hope im wrong
But i cant see us beating lester or charlton..
Or norwich

I didn’t realise how many points adrift Leicester are, chances of them surviving are next to nil . Interesting to see if they are fighting or have given up , won’t be easy but if we follow our recent trend of taking the lead , surely we can see it out against them in a toxic environment ! If not as others have said wouldn’t deserve top 6 anyway

Said this yesterday - 2 draws and a defeat.

Psych wise - can't see us being up for winning a game.

Will 71 pts be enough? Unlikely but possible - given the remaining fixtures of Wrexham and Derby.

All out on the ****ing lash again with a game Tuesday, so embarrassing it’s hilarious.
I can’t remember who said it on here that some of the players probably don’t want promotion or at the very least aren’t that bothered about promotion because it would mean they’ll either get sidelined or sold. When the club captain is out on the piss after a **** result and pathetic team/individual performance and we have another crucial game that we must win in a couple of days, it tells me everything I need to know about the mentality, professionalism and standards of some of the players.

I can’t believe the club gave him a new three-year contract.

Can see us scoring first and they equalise via a Fatawu worldie. Will finish 1-1 or we’ll lose 2-1. They’ll still go down but not before landing a venomous strike on us like a dying viper.

We can't even match Portsmouth's results at the moment, pal.

We couldn't have a worse fixture on Tuesday, to be honest. Leicester are fully aware of how humiliating relegation is, they're going to come out swinging with the crowd behind them. As much as I dislike their fans, they are nothing if not resilient and that season they survived at our expense I was convinced they were dead and buried and we'd be alright.

All these teams are striving to succeed, while our mentality seems to be trying desperately not to fail. We could do with a visit from some of the former promotion winners getting the lads going, get them watching the videos of our success, show them what it means to the city.

I'm proud of the lads this season, for sure, but the way we've tailed off is a massive concern because it isn't just a slight bit of misfortune, we're a completely different team to how we were before the January Transfer window shut. I'm inclined to agree it's the old midfield problem, but it now seems as though our defence is also lacking confidence and we are more concerned with playing it safe than we are playing it forward. Kinda like they're not bothered about winning as long as they don't lose. The mentality at the moment reflects that, it's almost as if the lads have taken into account the hardships we've faced this season and have decided that wherever we finish now represents a huge success. Not being relegated is the expectation, but it doesn't say much that with a golden opportunity to extend our season we seem to just be shuffling off with our hands in our pockets.

Absolutely written in the stars. I feel less uneasy about it after yesterday’s result, now we really need to pick up a result.

Now is a good time to turn our form around, 3 games left makes a good run of form sustainable into and through the playoffs. We also have a glutton of returning injuries which is almost like coming out of a transfer window to trigger it.

Still feeling positive.

Other than Belloumi, I’m not sure who you’d take to the pl. Promotion would be great obviously but it’s a huge rebuild

A load of the players got told in the international break that they need to find new clubs next season.
