And don't forget that Carrick had 100% record at old toilet until tonight
Michael Carrick had won each of his first six home league games in charge of Manchester United prior to today, the joint-longest winning start in the top-flight for a manager at the club along with Frank O’Farrell.

Both lost their seventh to Leeds United, with the latter’s defeat coming in October 1971 (1-0).

I can’t tell you how happy I am to score nil points in the Leeds correct score competition <cheers>
Dropped in here occasionally during the game and laughing that I was saying exactly to my mate in the con club that Emu said, I couldn’t understand why we turned it into a basketball game when we should’ve kept the ball and made them run until they tired. We suddenly went long, panicked and gave them a chance they shouldn’t have got. BUT, so so close to job done <applause>

Why didn’t you tell us you were going to the con club?
I would have predicted a win and not a draw.

As a postscript, a few days ago found out my daughter was going to a concert in Manchester and had a problem with return trains. So very peed off to be drafted in by wife as daughters driver for the night.

Moaned like hell, then realised I’d be in scum centre at match time and could watch surrounded by mega thick scum fans. But little did I know how much I would actually enjoy myself. Bliss.

Oliver Glasner gave permission for his Crystal Palace squad to enjoy themselves out in Florence last night, after the Eagles secured a place in the club's first ever European semi-final

The celebrations took place just three days before Palace are set to face 17th placed West Ham in the Premier League.

While the West Ham clash is of less consequence for Glasner and Palace, who are now 12 points clear of the relegation zone, it's of vital importance to Tottenham Hotspur, who need the Irons to drop points if they themselves are to escape the threat of demotion to the Championship.
