We've been horrendous in the last few games. The final against City, The FA cup against Soton and then yesterday against Bournemouth. So we are just looking really fragile at the moment.

I said months ago it would come down to that game at the Etihad and it will probably be the one that decides it. As long as we don't lose that game, then I think we can still win it

But a 6 point gap will be 3 if City win that game in hand, and then they play us....

I reckon he'll just shut up shop and play for the draw.

I like to wonder what fate is playing at here, will Eze be the deciding factor, you beat Spurs to him, Spurs get relegated and Eze wins you the title, it's like the script was all ready wrote.

I hope so.

Also Spurs beat City at the Etihad and City spunked a two goal lead against them at the Spud bowl.

Would be amazing if those points help us to win the league

And Eze, who scored 5 against the spuds this season, scores the winner at the Etihad

He’s going to look a right **** if he tries to ****house a 0-0 and loses. They can get at City and particularly the full-backs.

So he’ll shut up shop and lose 1-0 to a late Haaland header.

Unfortunately, me too. That’s why I’m enjoying the piss taking when I can. Arsenal only have teams in the bottom half to play. City’s games are all against top half teams, apart from Burnley.

If Man City beat Arsenal next week, and I think they will, then I don't think it matters who else they have to play. The way they looked today they'll beat anyone.

ps. Just watched your match on MOTD and I'm glad you won but that shove by Brobbey when already on a yellow card... I love the ****-housing element but think it wasn't a wise thing to do when already cautioned, could have changed the game badly for you guys. Still though, onwards and upwards.

Arteta always plays for a draw against the big teams

He will try to stink the place out and nick it with a late header from a corner

But, but, but, but he cried about us playing anti-football against Arsenal so he'd never do that himself. How dare you besmirch Arteta in such a manner, he's like Slot, he would never.

That was my first thought mate. I watched again and Romero just stops dead in his tracks to obstruct Brobbey and stop him getting through. I played as a forward for years and that’s a normal reaction by Brobbey to try and get past or around him. Also to stop him going straight into the back of Romero.

I don’t share your confidence on City. They aren’t as consistent as past season and always look like they’ll drop points.

I also think Arsenal go there and win next week which will put it to bed, anyway.

It's a cliche... but also true - football is very much about momentum - goes all the way down to being a player - when you have it you can't wait for the next game both individually and collectively... when you don't, particularly when it keeps going wrong, despite your best efforts ... you view the next game with trepidation and possibly become too cautious (or desperate) due to the waning confidence. ..

At the moment, Citeh have the momentum ... Arsenal will need real leaders on and off the pitch now... will be interesting.

It's horrible watching what's happened to us the last couple of weeks. Our confidence looks shot, and now we have a trip to the Etihad.

That said, what better game to play next. If we win or even draw there it's a massive victory for us and puts the momentum firmly back in our court.

Lose that one though and I think this title will slip away....again

Agree - from a purely logical point of view, you'd rather be in your position than Citehs - it's 'in your hands' ... but your confidence is visibly fragile and you'll be facing an inform confident Citeh roared on by a packed stadium - you can only hope that they too will start to feel the pressure.

Much different level admittedly, but watching my lot at the moment is beyond painful - dominating games but really can't hit a cow's arse - snatching at every chance - so many wayward 'goal attempts' and defending like headless chickens that couldn't keep a clean sheet if doused in Persil ... the opposition scoring isn't just likely - it's inevitable...

First goal in your game is vital...
