Mods is their any chance sticking this for members who want to find their stadium bricks. Been done by my brother Dave Bambrough.
I posted the link earlier in the off the field thread. Worth making this a sticky though. Well done to your brother, one hell of an effort he's put in there. Fans at todays game have already used it and took pictures next to their bricks.

Cheers for that. Lost my bit of paper telling me where my brick is. Hopefully i'll get the chance to actually see it one day

To be honest, I love Jill Scott. She's a great ambassador and she's hilarious at times but I don't think she should be one of the 14. I wouldn't have picked Defoe, Bob Murray (he already has gates) or Peter Reid either as they were decent but not outstanding.

I think the legends should be players who have achieved the most, played the best, won things - that kind of thing.

Disappointed Charlie Buchan is missing. My Grandpa saw him play and his eyes used to light up when he talked about him. Bobby Gurney is another stand out miss for me.

Do you think age affected it? Younger people don't have the first hand tales we've been told by our parents and grandparents and the vote seems heavily skewed towards more recent players.

Exactly Becs what has she done for SAFC absolutely nowt, correct me if I’m wrong but this LEGEND way is connecting the STOKOE and MONTY statutes, so in a way partially celebrating our famous day in’73, i personally think it should include ALL the team that day, but to include a person who won things away from Wearside , ahead of Malone,Pitt,Watson,Halom,Hughes etc is just wrong and lacks respect of their efforts that day

I’d normally choose Buchan and Gurney as they were big figures for SAFC. Don’t know why, but I went for different and maybe more modern names.

Was this subconsciously about the new era the club is entering? Some of the most exciting times in living memory and we’re not looking like stopping.

My family came to the NE from the midlands so I don’t have those memories passed down from uncles and grandparents. The connection to the players from yesteryear is in the head more than the heart.

Well done Dave Brambrough. I lost my paper certificate and couldn't remember where the fook me brick was, esp after many years an exile.

Anyway, found it again. next to me marra who bought it as a leaving gift for me, before I first headed overseas around 24 years ago.

Great to see his work recognised by the club.

FTM.

Good stuff indeed.

I hope it's the start of the club doing some making up to the fans re: tickets, etc.
