So here’s a thought. Is he making it known he would go Back to Bumhole lane? Knows his level and knows that they would want him. Footballers arnt as stupid as we think or at least their agents arnt.
Wouldn't rule it out. Wilder loves him and would probably pay him the wage he wants. He certainly wouldn't be up to the Prem with or without us so it makes sense.

Think he is ours so it would take a fee too

Oli McBurnie signed a three-year contract with Hull City on August 6, 2025, following his departure from Spanish side Las Palmas, with the deal including a club option for a fourth year. The 29-year-old Scotland forward joined on a free transfer after a release clause was triggered by Las Palmas' relegation

We hold the cards and unlikely to give away one of our best cards, though as you note just a 'thought'

At this stage its impossible to know how the players have reacted to what Acun has done to their team mate yesterday. What Oli has posted could easily be a response to that, a come and get me plea or simply coincidence.

But as you say he is contracted so it would be messy. Unless we need to offload big earners again this summer.

Yes,but if a player wants out we don't stand in his way :emoticon-0100-smile

I don’t think McBurnie’s post did anything wrong, to be honest. He thanked city fans for their support and the fans of a former employer for a warm welcome. He’s allowed to feel positive and passionate about his time here and also about somewhere else he’s been in the past.

Similarly, Lundstram’s post could have been worded better, but I understand the sentiment he was trying to get at and it comes across as genuine emotion and confusion on his part.

It’s ultimately a job for them and I have lots of fond memories of past employments and employers. That doesn’t take anything away from my dedication to my current one.

The worst post for me is Acun’s. He didn’t need to publicly step in at all, but he can’t help himself.

Anyone who isn’t soft as **** can see that, no surprise the maverick who actually made something significant of his life playing in the big leagues told the man he pays 40k odd a week too to get ****ed bothers the piss wetters on an Internet forum.

And what exactly have you achieved in your life? Do you think perhaps that people are looking at the bigger picture than just what impact this could have on Lundstram?

McBurnie is absolutely taking the piss out of Acun and baiting him. I'm hoping that means the dressing room finds the whole thing hilarious rather than getting pissed off by it, but it also really undermines any authority Acun thought he may have had with the playing squad.

Lunny's post was pathetic, Acun called him out on it - end of matter - anyone getting excited by it need to give their head a shake - move on, we have another crack at cementing a top six place on Saturday - out of three teams, we're in pole position with a decent run in
If you did something 'pathetic' at work and then discovered your boss had gone on social media to attempt to humiliate you would you just laugh it off and tell people to give their head a shake?

Is McBurnies post 'pathetic' too? Will the clown be posting a similar reply to him as well?
