Running out of things to say.

Every player is doing their part.

They must be very tired.

Tonda keeps finding a way.

I am managing my minutes as carefully as I can.

Fans are doing their part.

Now, I will wash my mouth out after saying this, but 'mon the Pompey :emoticon-0119-puke:

Getting to the part of the season where other teams matches may start really meaning something.

Courtesy of our resident Referee watch, the ever present @SAINTOSPREY - let's hope we get a decent ref for once as lately they have been pretty awful.

Referee: Josh Smith,
Assistant Referee: Sam Lewis,
Assistant Referee: Matthew Smith,
Fourth Official: Thomas Kirk,

Enjoy the game(s)...

Was about to hit the like button until I saw 'mon the Pompey.

They've been decent since the new manager came in so won't be easy.
Ah you are well mean!

I would prefer them to go down, but also prefer it if they beat Ipswich (doubt they will either).

I guess all we can do is win our games and deal with whatever happens at seasons end.

I don't think Ipswich are catchable personally. As I said yesterday it may also be detrimental chasing it so much as we could go into play offs on a low.

Ideally I'd like us to beat Blackburn and Swansea and then rest players against Bristol City.

'They must be very tired.' The poor mites. Still, as long as they get to bed early, and don't play on their phones after lights out, I'm sure they will be fine.
And @SR ruined my club , you need to be sensible, as we approach the business end of the season, otherwise you'll get 'end of season burnout', and won't be ready for the playoffs. You're already sounding a bit delusional, with support for Pompey, but I'm sure it's only temporary.

Yeah it should all be good.

The Club have been brilliant with me lately, they recognise the role I have been selflessly been playing.

They send over a personal trainer and physio, I managed a good warm down and rub after the game - real happy ending :emoticon-0126-nerd:

Blackburn will face up much like Derby, but probably even more compact as they’d be delighted with a draw from this. They’re actually in decent form too, unbeaten since the 11th March. Wins against Millwall and Brum, draws with Boro, WBA and Stoke in their last 5 games not conceding more than once in a game since the end of February, 3 clean sheets in their last 4 games. Probably not going to be a great game this, an early goal would do wonders.

Blackburn also play on Friday at home against Cov so they may rotate a bit against us as, while both games are tough on paper, they might think they have a better chance against (basically) already promoted Cov at home than away against us

Each morning after another victory, the match threads become almost playful, a bit like flicking towels at each other in the showers after the game. Apparently...
Others have greater experience than me in such playful boy's behaviour but I understand there's a need to be careful with the soap.

Couple of Saints connections at Blackburn of late: Nathan Redmond has been signed up after some time as a free agent and Steven Davis is currently assistant first team coach there until the end of the season with Michael O'Neill

Not so long ago people would have asked if we might re-sign these two! Interesting how far we’ve come in the last few weeks.

Steven Davis was class, and will be interesting to see if he makes the grade in management. As for Nathan, 2017 Semi-Final v Liverpool he scored at home and ran them ragged away. Like a lot of talented players he could frustrate, but on his day he was superb. Let’s hope he doesn’t have a good day at SMS, but otherwise enjoys himself at Blackburn.

Decisions decisions. Who do we start? I’d go with:

Peretz
Bree THB stephens manning
Downes Jander
Matsuki Azaz scienza
Larin

Think Stewart looked off the pace maybe rest him for Saturday. Archer to come on for scienza at 60m and go four four ****ing two if we need to.

Difficult to juggle this game for some players. I think Manning and Bree could probably do with a rest, but given we are likely to make a lot of changes elsewhere you don't want to make too many changes. Azaz might need a rest after going off with a knock against Derby. We'll see rotation up front as standard between Larin and Stewart. I'd assume Matsuki comes back in, but we won't want to run Scienza into the ground either so maybe Edozie does too. Stephens doesn't typically play every game in a packed schedule either so maybe Wood comes back in. But all of that together might be too many changes. Difficult one. In theory the away game against Swansea will be the more difficult game, but 3 points here would be big given it's 'our game in hand' for the moment, until Ipswich later becomes the game in hand.
