Think his card tonight means he misses next match.... Will the spurs match count as I'm not sure if he is allowed to play against his loan club? If it does, good time to get suspended!
Yes the spurs game counts and the commentary I had on were making jokes about it being a stupid rule, perfect timing I wonder if russ will go to right back or just have ritchie de laet to contend with gareth bale?
That's if Bale plays. I did hear a 'rumour' that he was doubtful for the game. Got to admit, it would be helpful if he didn't play.
i heard this morning that he will miss the fulham match rather than spurs (which of course he will miss anyway).
Conflicting views on twitter, but the pink'un suggest it will be clarified later today. Please let it be Spurs!
I would NOT like to see Bale vs Naughton (Or any of our defenders) so it will be a massive stroke of luck if neither Bale/Lennon plays and we might even have a chance of something. Good thing Tottenham don't have any other decent players, yeah?
Pink'un just confirmed FA ruling:- "Therefore his one match suspension will be completed once the game against Spurs is completed. Although he is ineligible for this fixture it is irrelevant and is just coincidence." If John Terry can do it, so can a 'little' Norwich player
thats what i thought. never mind. looks like martin will be back at right back for a couple of games!
hang on, so "Pink'un just confirmed FA ruling:- "Therefore his one match suspension will be completed once the game against Spurs is completed. Although he is ineligible for this fixture it is irrelevant and is just coincidence." The way I read that the spurs game will count as his suspension and he will be elligible for the next game at Fulham? have i got that right???
Yes, he'll be available against Fulham! Something tells me Lambert already knew this... It's probably happened before
Here's a take on the John Terry one I referred to earlier:- http://www.caughtoffside.com/2011/1...iberately-collect-yellow-card-against-wolves/ AVB said it wasn't deliberate, but why take an eternity over a throw in, get booked and then throw the ball to a team mate because you had no intention of taking the throw in in the first place?
The point of being in the Prem is to play against the best and hopefully beat the best. I hope Butthead plays and DeLaet/Martin plays him off the park.
no way. i'm with maestro on that one! spurs really did miss bale on sunday and with lennon also out, it would be a massive chance for us to get something from the game. they suddenly lack pace without those guys and i just want what is best for norwich, and that means picking up points!
