Into the last five games of the regular season. Been a weird one, lots of good performances but most disrupted by injury at some point.

Who is your Player of the Season? I've put the obvious suspects in, but open to more suggestions.

Feel free to change your vote to whoever scores the last minute winner in the play off final.

For me, its Regan Slater. Been so important to our play many times this season and has been the most consistent.

Agreed, there's only been one player in my eyes who's had a consistent year.

Slater has been the most consistent, but it doesn't always mean best/most importantly etc. taking mcburnies contributions out the team for example, would have had a much bigger impact on the season over taking Slater's out imo

I don't agree. Our biggest problem area has been the midfield, taking Slater out of that too gives an even bigger problem.

Yes, McBurnie not being here would have been an issue, but its not like other players lacked goals.

Ye it’s been a weird season tbh
Purple patches
Joffy Mcburnie Giles crooks hughes
And none of them have even been 6 or 7/10 at times
Very odd

It's about getting that balance in midfield. You could argue for Slater, Crooks or Amir in the running for player of year but generally the midfield has been a problem.

I’ve voted Slater but should maybe go undecided, still pivotal games of the season left and if Mcburnie or Gelhardt managed to hit top form and score another 5 goals including play off winner , they would be worth a shout but so far it’s Slater for me for consistency
For me it's McBurnie but about 50% of my reason is his contributory play and attitude, not just the obvious goals he scored.

Slater for me, not only for his performances but also his development this season

McBurnie DID miss a chunk of the season and we still scored goals, so not sure the argument that 'if McBurnie wasn't there..' for McBurnie getting POTS. I think Slater has been crucial to the way we've played and has run that midfield for the majority of the season.

FAR too early. There's 8 games left yet.

Same when they call MotM on some televised games when there's still up to 15 mins left to play! (5 mins normal time then between 5-10 mins additional time).
