The (brilliant) cup run has taken it's toll on the posters - it's the night before the Wrexham game, and this thread is still on Page One. Still, it's quality not quantity that counts, and I'm sure that by kick off we'll have rotated the usual posters, giving everyone a chance, and also allowing the first XI time to recharge their (phone) batteries. Oh, and we'll win 2-1.

All the big 6 pointers down the bottom finished all square over easter. Would take the same given the quick turnaround and with it being away, but a win would be massive! COYR

I'd definitely take a point but if it's level going into later stages they'll have to go for it which might give us an opportunity to nick it on the break.

Interesting to see what Tonda does with the team. He's generally quite careful bringing players back up to speed after injury and its a quick turnaround from the Arsenal game. Can Scienza and Stewart start again having just returned from injury and with limited recovery time since Arsenal?
I'd be tempted to start Fellows again tbh despite Matsuki playing well before the international break, partly because it will do us good to have a confident Fellows for the run in and partly because I think Matsuki is the better impact player from the bench. I'd assume both Downes and Charles come back in, but some big calls to be made. Good problems to have at this stage!
 
You didn’t need to be an expert analyst to see that when Wrexham came to SMS we had more holes than a Swiss cheese. So it proved and Still was looking likely to take us out of the Championship through the cellar. Then came the allegedly worst appointment since the Romans gave Caligula a run out, but which somehow has worked out to be inspired.

I still think we’ll lose tonight. All the factors in our favour on Saturday will be with them. But I have confidence in the players and the manager that they’ll bounce back. One loss will not dent our promotion run-in.

Lol now is not the time to doubt Sir Tonda and his Tondalution :)

We got this. A nervy 2-1 win after being 1-0 down. Maybe a bit earlier comeback than the home fixture.

Knowing the Saints of the past, I fear a "Lord Mayors show" scenario, we may have peaked too soon?
However, seeing the Saints of the present day, I hope that they will recover from Saturday, get their act together, because three points tonight is essential.
We just have to trust and believe in Tonda and his merry band to get it right on the night. The stress is getting to me, at my age it isn't doing me any favours. It's still better than what we were going through pre-Tonda!
