So many candidates for MOTM. But in the end I just gave it to Fellows. At HT I had Bree in the lead, but over the full 90 Fellows just took it. He's had a difficult few weeks - and he still can't shoot - but that was much better.

If only Stewart wasn't made of glass. He'd probably already be on the plane to the WC (and we'd probably be in the top two in the league).

Easily one of the best atmospheres at SMS.

Cut off is QF's for 2 yellows so Manning isn't suspended.

But the cut off includes QFs.

The cut off for cup competitions exists purely to be avoid a Gazza/Ballack scenario of a playing getting booked in the SF and missing the final (if they progress).

Blackmore was pretty authoritative in saying how unfortunate it was for Manning to be suspended for the semi on going home with Adam and Joe

**** I misread it. Welington it is then.

When Charles hit the winner and I saw the replay on the big screen I did keep a nervous eye on the referee for any potential VAR intervention. Luckily Larin was far enough away not to be interfering with play and therefore offside and the referee very quickly moved to halfway indicating the goal was to stand.

I did notice how Kepa didn't originally complain (which is a clear indication that Larin wasn't interfering). But when the side-on replay was put on the screen, he was duly encouraged by a teammate to go and try it on with the referee.

Lack of var intervention was incredibly refreshing last night

Yeah I noticed that.

Don’t say that, I’m sure if they wanted to they’d find a loophole to send the ref over to the monitor today and retrospectively disallow the goal!

Morning all. Woken with a semi <party>

What an unbelievable night. Genuinely one of the greatest ever at St Mary's.

We started really well and looked very dangerous on the break. After about 15 minutes Arsenal really put under pressure and we struggled to get out for ages, was bound to happen though and we dealt with it well.

Felt like the goal was actually the first time we'd managed to get up the pitch in ages. Thought Leo did brilliantly to hold on to it and allow others to get up the pitch and Ross took it really well when it came to him. Loved that that move came from their failed backheel.

Second half I'm struggling to remember in much detail tbh but Scienza desperately unlucky with his shot off the bar. Peretz made a great save from Dowman and then we fell asleep for their equaliser though it was a class through ball in fairness.

I feared the worst then but the lads didn't panic at all and kept the belief which the crowd fed off. Absolute scenes when Charles calmly stroked the ball into the corner, if last night wasn't the best atmosphere at St Mary's then that was definitely the best goal celebration.

Weird how Charles only has 3 goals for us but all will be memorable for years to come. Hopefully he has a couple more yet to come.

Not going to pick a MOTM as they were all brilliant but thought Fellows had his best game for us so far, though I wanted to ****ing kill him when he twice didn't take the ball to the corner <laugh>

Bragg showed a maturity and composure beyond his years and wasn't phased at all by the occasion. Big future for him.

I was worried when Manning got booked but overall thought he dealt with Dowman (who was excellent) very well so huge credit for that.

I could go on and on as they were all brilliant to a man but I'll leave it there and go and watch the highlights back to back a few times.

Up the ****ing Saints.
Absolutely spot on,(although I wouldn't know about you waking with a semi)

There is a good aftermatch interview with THB on iPlayer where he says how much Tonda has improved him as a player.

There is a real togetherness we have not seen for some time. They can't wait for the Wrexham game. They are just loving their football and just want to play.

Just when I thought that the victory could not be any sweeter this popped up on my YT feed ...

I love the highlights package of these plum's despair and hubris. There are so many ways to further enjoy a victory nowadays.

Sunday morning soaking in the schadenfreude, the likes of Morgan hoisted by their own ******* (French for "late")

... ahhhhhhh, bliss
