The stats say, the loser of Bolton/Blackburn will more than likely get relegated, due to being bottom of the league over Christmas. How do you see it panning out....

I reckon the the much beleaguered Kean will steal a win, much to the annoyance of the Rovers fans.

Tough to call for tonight, the favourite is probably a 0-0 draw. For the rest of the season, Bolton to chop and stay up, Blackburn to stick and go down.

I would rather Accrington Stanley were in the Premier League than either of those two. My indifference to tonight's result is complete.

as long as Yakubu scores lots of goals for my fantasy team, I'd be happy with a 9-8 win for Bolton.

I quite like Owen Coyle, as he's ex-Airdrieonians, and a Scottish mate of mine follows Airdrie Utd. I feel a bit of sympathy for the battered Kean, but I can also understand why Blackburn Rovers supporters are so against him. They obviously feel he is out of his depth and that a club like Rovers shouldn't be gambling with a newbie. I remember the feeling very well when Lord Duckhunter himself, Rupert Lowe gave the 1st team to Steve Wigley on a permanent basis. I was incandescent with anger, and I kept it going at every opportunity. Strangely, I felt as if I was the only one at the time, though I'm sure there were plenty like me. From his previous experience, I could see that Wigley was like a rabbit caught in the headlights, and the only way for Saints was down. The appointment of a proper manager was too late. The losing mentality had set in.

Feel for Kean seems like a nice bloke, out of his depth but a nice chap. Seems like the Venkys have just left him out in the cold to take all the flack and abuse.

The Kean affair reminds me so much of the Branfoot era at Saints. Say what you like about Rupert but if a manager was not working, Sturrock/Wigley/Gray he did not waste that much time to get rid.

I feel sorry for Kean as the real problem at Blackburn is the owners, but it's easier to shout for the managers head.

Indeed I will. He was a bloody idiot to appoint Wigley, and Gray, for that matter. He gambled with the Premier League survival of SFC by appointing Wigley, and it didn't pay off. At least Gray was merely in a caretaker capacity. Sturrock, on the other hand was dealt with badly in another way. I'm pretty sure he would have kept Saints in the PL, though we would have gone nowhere because the club was running the finances so close to the wire.

In the end, thankfully all of them were got rid of. And good riddance too.

Kean is clearly not suited for his job and if I was a Blackburn fan I'd definitely want him out. Feel bad for the guy though, seems like a good chap.

I think the fans have acted disgracefully, almost willing the team to lose so they can get their way.
I feel sorry for him, & once he leaves, I hope he goes on a nice holiday with that nearly signed 5 year contract final payment. R.I.P Blackburn.

If we go up, I want Wigan, Blackburn and Bolton to go down. The sh*te clubs basically.

I certainly feel Kean deserves some sympathy for being the victim of a witch-hunt. Just imagine that you make a mistake in your workplace and suddenly all your workmates are baying like brutish animals for you to be slung out. YOU ARE MADE ACCOUNTABLE FOR EVERYTHING THAT GOES WRONG.

Saint Lambden: when you say "****e clubs", why don't you include us? We dropped from the EPL to League 1 in two years, we only survived because one benefactor from out of the blue rescued us from the grave. Let us all conjugate the passive verb "to be ****e".

I am ****e/you are ****e/ he, she or it is ****e/ we are ****e/you are ****e/they are ****e.

Please don't think you/we are better than other clubs - leave that to Leeds fans.

To be fair, Wigan have the ****test fan base anywhere in the country along with mk dons.

Blackburn constantly sulk about there manager but tbh, there players didn't look too bright tonight neither.

Bolton I quite like for some reason and hope they stay up but I want the other 2 to go down.

I like Bolton, and I think they have more than enough class to stay up. Blackburn used to be awesome when they had Santa Cruz and were doing really well, but they've been really negative and unambitious since selling him, and they deserve to go down as a result. Maybe some time in the Championship will inspire them and give them a bit of perspective. Wigan were entertaining for a while, but I'm sick of them now. Martinez is the only good thing about them.

If I could choose 3 teams to go down it would be Blackburn, Wigan and QPR.

However, I think it's more likely to be Blackburn, Wolves and Swansea.
