All three have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit arson with intent to endanger life and remain in police custody.

I caught something later about two men in their 40's as well who have been released on bail, so who knows, maybe grassed the younger lads up?

Yeah once they can prove it they will throw the book at them. Going to be looking at at least seven years, if they can get the endangering life to stick.
Depends. Hyacinth Middleclass on the jury will believe the defence that it was a reasonable protest for Palestine. Expect to see them as Green candidates in the near future.
Those ambulances looked well too close to those flats when they went up. So the residents who evacuated only have to give police statements saying their lives felt threatened, and it will be a hard one for the defence to argue, albeit they will probably go the plea bargaining route.
Just grabbed a couple of BBC pictures, don't know if this will be sufficient for the prosecution though, but that looks like endangering life to me (close proximity of buildings), considering the time of late night/early morning that they did it....

Can't believe anyone would torch an ambulance, let alone 3 or 4 of them tbph.

I had Pure man city vibes about this incident from day one

Thing is, I bet they’re not. Not really anyway. Unlikely to be devout mosque attendees studying the Quran in their spare time. Probably the descendants of people who came here a couple of generations ago and worked hard, did all the right things and were particularly keen to not get into any trouble.
The retrial was reported to be starting on April 7th so not long.
