I don’t particularly rate Southgate as a manager but I think it’s harsh to diminish his results in major tournaments. Tuchel may well prove me wrong at this World Cup and get England over the line but from what I’ve seen so far, I don’t think he will even match Gareth winning the ‘easy’ games.

Southgate wouldn’t have served up this mess.

But the real pressure/expectation comes at the first group game.

Never followed his personal life tbph, the celeb status just bores me, but went and had a google on the back of what you said is this over Pete Wicks (The Sun)? Who I don't know either, I've never watched Love Island or the Essex one.

Pete Wicks comes across as a decent bloke. He was on the Essex one but done a few things as a C-lister since.

Dack’s bird was on Love Island when it was big but I think was with him already, sacked him off temporarily for the fame from that and has done well since. Probably earned more than he has. She was an F1 girl before. I’m sure they had plenty in common and I’m surprised they won’t grow old together.

Jamaica not doing too bad here. World Cup will be better if this lot make it. We need a bit of this in our lives.

The only players to put themselves out and try to rescue something were substitutes Maguire, Burn, Rashford and Bowen, the rest just couldn't give a flying ****

The Japanese players defended like they were defending the Emperor, ours could not even bother tracking back

Can't believe how bad we are going into the World Cup in less than 3 months time. Fancy watching Japan more than I do our lot.
