I would guess that many of them have children, grand children, other family and friends that they care a great deal about.
It's relatively recently that the bank of mam and dad became a thing, and those mam's and dad's in general didn't get that cash given to them.
The thought of 18-100 year olds voting alarms me greatly. Politicians are all ****s, they’ll all **** you over and I’m not convinced it’s not all rigged anyway.

No it’s a fact. Theres a reason Mi5 and Mi6 actively recruit from universities instead of old peoples homes.
Universities? They are old codgers compared to the young. Of course the people in charge of Mi5 and Mi6 are oldies.

To be honest primary school kids probably have more mature arguments on the playground than our politicians do in the House of Commons so meh
Based on the last 10-15 years, I think we as a voting public have shown that we are ****wits or abstainers by majority. I'm assuming it takes all age groups to be that stupid.
That's simply not true. Most in their 70's and 80's have children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren. They fear, and care greatly, about what is being left for them. They often have the wisdom to see through the BS. Teens typically haven't got a clue. (exceptions in all age categories of course).
I was in Glasgow City Centre last Saturday night(not normal for me as I usually go on the p!ss during the day and I'm home before the mayhem)anyway, there was little or no evidence of these young one's sipping coffee,going to the gym or streaming netflix?
The place was absolutely rammed with young uns staggering around,females half-dressed,full of mango monster mash(courtesy of our 5 city centre Wetherspoons)?
I did see what appeared to be the remnants of a pizza(carrots too),lying in a fairly large puddle of vomit that had 'spewed forth' from some young lass heading for the last train to oblivion so I suppose there might be some truth in your claim.
Hey,we've all been there in our youth so no condemnation from these quarters but I think this myth that the young ones of today are curbing their drinking habits in favour of a girly night in and a diet pepsi is just that...Myth.
A lot of people were brought up to respect their elders,I was and have always done so.I've also brought up 4 children who had that value instilled in them from a relatively young age and they don't tend to stray too far from it either.
Is the reason that the targets who need watching are in universities and not old peoples homes?
Countries like Japan have the right attitude. The elderly are venerated.
The ones who need watching are those teaching there.
