Who owns the tech? Why do i talk about taxing billionaires. If we don't they will fuel themselves, through division, to greater wealth. Vote for people who’d tax them whoever they may be and spend it on making kids happy again.

Governments across the world need to act to prevent the dangers posed.
Taxing the CEOs more is almost a side issue; that won’t stop the toxic spread of misinformation, which they appear to be actively encouraging currently (as it generates more views therefore more :emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash:).
Social media misinformation is a massive driver of extreme views.
Governments urgently need to find a way to clamp down on it.
Bring back the days, on holiday abroad, when the only news you got was buying yesterday’s paper - at least what was in it was more or less true!

Its not a side issue. They’re the ones owning the tech and earning from the misinformation. There are two obvious examples in Musk and Thiel. Also Steve Bannon

NHS accused of rationing hospital appointments so Labour can hit waiting list target​

The NHS has been accused of rationing hospital appointments so the Labour Government can meet its waiting list targets. GPs have reportedly been told they should aim to consult on at least one in four referrals instead of sending people to hospital.
Quotas will come into effect on Wednesday (April 1) as the NHS looks to bring down waiting lists. Shadow Health Minister, Dr Luke Evans, said a target to "bounce back" one in four referrals would be bad for clinicians and patients.

Striking doctors should hang their heads in shame but Labour owns this mess​

Money-grabbing medics are due to strike for six days from April 7 in what will be their 15th round of industrial action since 2023.​

As if this dereliction of duty wasn’t shameful enough, it will cost the hard-up health service £300m, inconvenience millions of patients, and comes at a time when it should be abundantly clear to all that the NHS is on its knees and the UK economy is on its uppers.
Still, what does that matter to the militants running our hospitals these days?
