So, we are now 14 days away from the next PL fixture and no closer it seems to knowing the future for Tudor or who might be the coach for that game.
And worse still, the absence of any information about what training activities are going on around the squad players still 'on site'.
In fact, to the contrary, there are reports that apart from the players receiving treatment and rehab for injuries, the remaining group have been given the past week off. (England are using the Training Ground, but is that exclusive to them?)

It all just smacks of either piss poor club management or incompetent PR/comms strategy - or both - and based on everything else going wrong at the club in recent times, my money is on the latter!!.

Shambles! With a capital 'S'.... <doh>

I think that it goes a lot deeper.

- The football's been ****.
- The coaches have been ****.
- The recruitment has been ****.
- The medical team is ****.
- The players are either injured far too regularly, largely disinterested and/or ****.
-Those in the boardroom have evidenced. zero interest in addressing/ability to. address the above **** SHOW.

I tendered my resignation in 2019. I've maintained that exile (after 50 years of loyal support) because of the final point on that list. I'm shocked that people have continued to pay serious money to Daniel's cabal of f*cking incompetent wa*nkers to phone in a disgusting level of disinterested incompetence. I doubt that they will do again in such numbers.

I will return when being this football club is taken seriously as a priority...and not before then.

Love the badge. COYS!!!

P.s. Can we have our swearing back please?

I don't think they have a clue what to do. Nothing at or about the club is built for this situation and no one, including the players and manager, has any experience in how to navigate it.

The only two names being mentioned are De Zerbi and Dyche. The former doesn't want the job until the summer. The latter won't get a tune out of the players imo. They're too arrogant to listen to someone as lowly as him.

It seems that our stance since January hasn't changed: We're pinning everything on the hope that the players returning from injury will help us to safety.

It's a massive gamble.

No idea why it took all week but will hold off on any real judgement until we know who they’ve got to replace him.

It would have been crass to do it just after he lost his father. They did the right thing in waiting but if another whole week goes past without a replacement announced, it will have been more time wasted.

Another ill conceived gamble that most of us could see would crash and burn from the word go.

If they waited a week to announce it then I’d hope they would have had a replacement lined up to announce in the same statement

Agreed.

And there is every possibility of course that this decision was initiated by Tudor himself in the wake of his father's death and the board had no intention to sack him.

He probably looked at our predicament, looked at his family grieving and thought "screw it, I don't need this ****e right now".

Appreciate the time maybe taken to officially sack him (or agree ‘mutual consent’) may have been out of our hands a little due to his circumstances but it can’t have been a tough decision so as long as they spent the week lining up the next guy so we’re ready to go tomorrow then not quite as shambolic as it may look.

My bet’s on Mason to replace him.

I love him dearly but I think we drop under Mason.

The players are too arrogant to listen to Dyche. Frank had the same problem. They just didn't listen to anything he said because he was "only" Thomas Frank and they were the Mighty Tottenham Hotspur Conquerors of Europe's Secondary Competition Vanquishers of the Mighty IF Elsborg.

If De Zerbi can be talked into the worst decision of his career, great.

If not I'd give it to Redknapp and Defoe.

De Zerbi would be a terrible move. Poundland Conte without the trophies. Just from the football perspective: Never sticks around, never done anything and toys come out the pram at the slightest hint of not getting his way.
