Of course you don't count the number of times the excellence stops a goal....

I think that can and should be mitigated by having better and better drilled defenders who reduce the number of chances we're conceding in the first place, such that the pressure on the goalie to pull off worldies is greatly diminished.

We've faced the 6th most shots and have the 17th worst saved shots percentage, which indicates to me that we make it far too easy for the opposition to find themselves in goalscoring opportunities where a goal is much more likely than a save. But the data is unnecessary on this, you just need to watch us play.

Arsenal and City have been interesting studies in this regard. Donnarumma is without question a better keeper than Raya, but the latter plays for a team who have faced far fewer shots and within those; fewer shots taking inside the box (i.e. the type that would require a worldie to save them). In other words, Raya is statistically made to look like a better keeper than Dona simply because he has a better defence in front of him.

Not just better-drilled defenders, but tactics that don't leave those defenders (and goalkeeper) exposed like Frank's surrender of Zone 14 routinely did

While the sample size is admittedly tiny, what we have seen Tudor do is not allow that area to be a place for opposition players to practice their shooting drills and that has seen markedly better individual displays from Romero, Mickey Van and especially Danso as they're in a position to get a better reading of the game and decide if they have to stop the attacks outright or merely mop up the ball, rather than be pressed into action to stop attacks from the moment the opposition places a toe across the halfway line

The message wasn't to us, but to Sweden fans. He's apologising for missing the playoffs which were his target. He is saying however that he is injury free and needs just to get fit now.

We've missed him so badly this year.

Probably the only member of the entire squad whose mentality doesn't crumble into diluted piss at the first sign of pressure.

I'm definitely overthinking it, but if it's not to Spurs fans, why the white heart at the end?

I wouldn't be putting all my hopes on Kulu when he returns. After his first major injury I remember thinking he was a shadow of himself. If I recall correctly it took him months to get back up to the top level of his abilities.

I really hope he hits the ground running when he does get back on the pitch but I would be careful not to expect too much from him.

I agree.

At this rate by the time he returns, he'll be a Championship player participating in a training session run by his previous manager's successor's successor's successor.
