Deep breath… Heading down is/was right. Got diagnosed with inoperable stage four lung cancer last June and am recieving palliative care. Underwent massive chemo/immunotherapy cycles which shrank the tumour and relieved the worst of the symptoms. As was planned they then moved me to immunotherapy only. Nine months in and things are still in check (hopefully). I have CT scans every 12 weeks so live life in three month cycles. In myself I certainly feel better than I was this time last year so hopefully things are still stable. Trying to keep active and doing things we like to do (short breaks away, eating out, having the grand kids). I bet you wish you hadn’t asked. Lol. Enough about me, how are things with you?
Hope you've got a few years yet, think you were struggling to get to games last time we spoke,do you get to any now ?.I'm not too bad thanks, still dragging myself up the 11 flights of stairs to the top tear of the east stand.

I’m English Just don’t care about England, find it odd supporting a country with loads of players I dislike. Club over country a million times over so Bielsa for the win for me tonight. Hoping to see some Bielsaball but been poor so far.
Unfortunately mate, the Uruguayan players hate him, started by Luis Suarez. Think they want him sacked and one more trouncing will probably do it.

Not been to a game this season. Can’t be confident enough on being well enough on the day to risk buying tickets. Plus stress makes me feel lost, and as you know I’m not a calm spectator.

Awful to read this. Keep doing the the things you can enjoy fella <ok>.

Wasnt meaning to make anyone sad with the update. Everyday of feeling ok or better is a bonus that I try and take full advantage of. Staring down the barrel has made me very pragmatic and grateful for the good things I have done and those I am still doing.

Empathetic more than sad mate. You have a great attitude towards your situation. I’m making a mental note to do some good things to be grateful for in the future <cheers>

I did help an old dear work out how to use a parking ticket machine today. Hope for me yet!

I've been through it with my husband so as milkyboy says, it is with empathy and shows people care. I'm glad that you have a pragmatic attitude though because it helps to keep you going in my opinion.

Saw you on a YouTube clip that popped onto my feed today. Interviewed after Valencia away in the quarter final after we went through despite losing 2-0
