It is a club that paid off Liverpool courts after all, Gerrards clear assault that he got away with for someone not playing the song he wanted.

As you can see I'm not a Liverepool supporter but this punishment is way OTT. European clubs and associations have been punished less severly than this for more severly racist crimes, IMHO.

The FA and media keep repeating their anti-RACISM stance. Even if Suarez said what Evra claimed he said, it does not make him a racist. With the implied context it would have been said more to wind Evra up, like any other insult. In order to be a racist you would have to consider one race superior to another and/or be intolerant/have a hatred towards another race. I don't believe that it was alleged that at any time Suarez said anything along those lines.
 
I would urge all other 'rival' fans to think before you post! Try to remove the bias from your words because as far as I am aware there has yet been no evidence disclosed that proves anything! The fact that he has been found guilty may mean nothing yet, calling Suarez a racist just because the FA have said so is going down dodgy ground. The FA is a total joke, if anything the fact he has been found guilty by the FA probably reflects that he isn't such is their ineptitude!

Mate, who sold africans into slavery???? Other Africans, The slave trade was well up and running in Africa a long time before Europeans got there..So dont go playing that card. I dont know the full facts of this case so cant comment on whether Suarez is guilty/innocent. But what I will say is that racism appears in every culture, but It is only ever certain races that ever get accused of it.....Ive seen job adverts in the UK where applicants have to be black or have to be muslim.....But the **** would hit the fan if there was a job advert saying only whites need apply........

People call me a sheep shagger caos im from wales and its not even true. As far as I can see Suarez called Evra black and forgive me if im wrong....he is!! Very different to calling someone a black **** or a ******

Question; if we are to go ahead with the appeal and if we lost (hope that wouldnt happen) would Suarez's ban be extended? and or the Club/player be fined more?
 
Terrible decision in my view Evra is a despicable animal and has attempted to play the race card before. Although we will probably never know exactly what was said but I reckon its six of one and half a dozen of the other.

Mate I come from an area in the North of England I can tell you now that many people who hate and denigrate those from Pakistan and India have absolutely NO friends that are from those areas! I now live in Sydney and can certainly say the same of some of those I have worked with that constantly abuse and are racist towards asians etc... It certainly is possible to live your life with little contact between races, especially with regards to marriage with other races. I honestly do not understand your objection!

Seems to be a clear case of Guilty until proven innocent...Suarez has had to prove himself innocent, instead of the usual other way round......With his poor grasp of english you could argue the FA are being racist towards him....

At the end of the day none of us were at the hearing so we don't know all the details.
As far as I'm concerned they must of had hard proof to issue an 8 game ban, otherwise it would of been kicked out of court.

Suarez can go **** himself, the sooner he leaves our club the better.
