Incredible, the mystery is that you hardly notice him until you watch the game back ...

... he must be a nightmare to play against.

The passage of play where it looked like we weren't in control but Granit had it all sussed.

Desperate to get a younger understudy to him.

I have a sneaky feeling he might move on in the summer thinking it's job done. Maybe look for a player coach role if we can't offer him it.

Bloke is different level. In everything. Absolute bargain of all time for us.

Maybe City and Arsenal might not find a starting place for him, though he'd be fine for both. But he would improve every other side in the League.

Player coach? Too young for that! He is 33 people talk like players don't go longer these days. Can't see him being intersted in moving on or a player coach role yet.

Putting aside the fact he wanted to live in Newcastle (not the first Sunderland player) another for the auto subs.

Not one who will hang around when a 'bigger' club comes calling I fear.

Those two 7th place finished under Reid. 58 and 57 points. Not likely to reach that I know but... <laugh>

Well if not this season maybe next.
There's that old adage of teams getting found out.
But not under Regis I think.

It's been a hard few years since we slipped from the premier League.
The hope of ever getting anything to compare with those days of Reid with Quinn and Phillips etc seemed a pipe dream.
But for me this is up there and probably better.
Ok we didn't win promotion with record points but overcome the worst part of our history to go on and secure a premier League place when all others fail, and smash the mag bastads home and away.
And the players man. I love the fookin players.
I was gutted for Luke slipping and miss kicking the ball. But by fook what comeback on their own back yard.
That unfortunate mistake was testament to the squad to fight back and you get what you deserve.
Luke O'Nien, first premier League start and a win against them coonts away. Magic.
