I’m going to pretend I’ve never seen this. The awful jokes tell themselves.

I don’t want to be the one to do it.

I'm not even joking bro.

His legacy speaks for itself

His record of elimination is a stain on history.

It ended up costing him his job at Monaco

There are people walking among us who have never seen their team win a thing but would take 17th over this. Not sure I’d ever come home.

This has gone down well. Bit of an odd decision by Ipswich.

Plus you’re going up now Sadler is out
Next season perhaps, as it stands they'd be whipping boys in league 1.
Someone I know who's pretty reliable, reckons Byfield has the job until the end of the season, then Liam Ridgewell will take over, which when his name was linked straight after the Sadler sacking, not many were enthusiastic about.
I like the way Byfield is setting them up now, focused more on attack, but some of the old habits are still there as in hoofing it up field with no one up there who can actually win the ball.

I remember Byfield. Scored a lot. Shagged Jamelia.

Tbf I think he could do a good job given the time and the players needed, the owners needed to get in a decent number 9 in January and failed miserably, the young kid they loaned from Fulham is too raw, Byfield has moved him out wide and he's still not pulling up any trees but definitely looking better, they just need to give him the ball to feet quicker now, let him use his pace.

Losing to Sunderland is the norm and so is doing better than Sunderland... I got used to losing the derby every single time years ago.
Enjoy it while it lasts pal. I’m naturally pessimistic. It’s just my nature. However, I can actually seeing us winning a trophy and finishing higher than you regularly with the owners and staff that we have in place, now. They’re winners.

We will build again better next season. The club clearly has a model that works for identifying quality players. Another 4 or 5 players with the quality we have brought in and we’ll push for Europe next season…. If we don’t get there this time.

You lot deserved to win.. Not going to make any complaints... Think you've got a good manager a good recruitment team and owner.

I'm afraid I'm a **** though so Eddie can **** off now though as far as I'm concerned... You can't lose to Sunderland twice..

@JR41 @Charlie Snakescock

Are you guys alright over there?

I can see you have entered the coping stage, now. Been in the premier league longer. Going to finish higher anyway. League cup winners etc

<laugh>
Why don't you talk over there rather than dragging us over here? Your bantz would be better than what @Lord_Rowell is providing anyway.

At least you're not bragging about winning the league in 1936 this time.

Woke nonsense that the international playoffs aren’t until Thursday. Was tempted by heading over to Aldershot v Bwood but got an early start tomorrow.

Oldham v Notts County though. Playoff-chasing v promotion-chasing. SkySports+ for the purists.

Been to Oldham for 2 games, ****ing freezing both times

Went there for an FA Cup tie in the early 80s - game had been called off 3 or 4 times due to frozen pitch etc before eventually taking place... lost... as was quite common - Jock Wallace then promptly signed their centre-forward, Alan Young, who had completely ripped us apart ...
