Fantastic win & performance, quality goals around, apart from some slackness giving them a goal, sensational & all played a part & would say we are safe now, Urrss

Great result for everyone and God did we need it.
Well taken goals all around. But we looked ragged everywhere else to be fair. But, I’ll happily take that.
6-1. At home. Forwards scoring for fun. Happy fans. Pleased for JS. A good day :emoticon-0148-yes:

It's a funny old game as someone once said. 6-1 and yet we were pretty much as poor as I've seen In defence and non-existent in midfield (Hayden and Varane interchangeablly awful). Couldn't miss up front though. Paul Smyth a comfortable MOTM for me although the Portsmouth keeper a close second.

Another season of this to look forward to...

Crazy game. We weren't actually all that good and scraped home 1.63 to 1.53 on Xg! Some well taken goals, though. Kone worked hard as usual and deserved his goals, but I'm still looking forward to Burrell back up top.
Hold that. We actually lost on Xg. **** it!

Got seats in the lower school end so great view of the first half goals. We were lethal in front of goal yet somehow managed to spend most of the game defending. Walsh made a couple of good saves and actually looked comfortable for a change. Man of the match has to be Kolli. 2 great goals at crucial moments.

The Portsmouth players went and stood in front of their fans at the end, German penitent style, and although I was a long way off the gestures from the fans indicated they got dogs abuse.

Can’t say we didn’t do our best to give them a chance, they just couldn’t take any. Apart from one odd save in the first half which nearly went in Walsh was good, and all our finishing was great. And that’s about it. Great fun though.

I really think the score flattered us. Everything went in today but Portsmouth weren’t bad and could have got back into it if they’d nicked a second at 3-1.
