Skates bang in trouble now. 4 home defeats on the bounce and have hardly any goals in the team.

Dreadful run in too. Them and Leicester both going is the dream.

Would like Blackburn to go. Awful town, takes forever to get there. Pompey staying up would be practical. Cheapest and quickest away day in the league.

Wouldn’t miss West Brom.

Blackburn probably be my third choice after those two. No interest in going there again anytime soon.

Would quite like WBA to stay up, like The Hawthorns and generally sound fans. Both my visits have been night games too so wouldn't mind a Saturday one.

TLDR - Should have been a sporting sanction. Rules inconsistently applied. Having their fines paid by the victims of Ukraine. A classy club... Also, paves the way for Man City to argue their way out of significant chunks of their "troubles".

This puts our achievement this season into perspective. Even after our spending last summer, we clearly have the squad that has cost the least to put together in the division. Probably by some way.

On a side note. We are sitting on 40 points and I don’t think that is enough with the way the clubs at the bottom are picking up points.

You guys have done amazingly, I thought you'd be fighting around 17th/18th until the last game of the season (and that would have still been a good effort).

I'd be very surprised if 40 points wasn't enough as it would mean all those teams around the bottom would have to get more than a point per game from here. I think 37/38 was enough. That said, when we won last weekend to get to 42 points I did let out a sigh of relief, when you've been a team that flirts with relegation (or has a full on gang bang with it) I don't think you ever lose that "we got to 40 points" relief.

Makes it better that they went out and lost at home to a mediocre Newcastle.

This season we are a bang average mid-table side. We will probably get battered by Barcelona tomorrow but if we somehow come away with a result we'll then not win another game for a month. That's us this season. Chelsea should have put us to the sword.

I'll see how long I last tonight with my lots game, it's Swindon tonight, so if we lose 0-5 tonight again it might just tip some of them over the edge lol.
