As long as they understand that no tax = no spend and that Reform will (try to) cut spending on the NHS, social care, welfare and education. If Reform voters think that this means cutting waste, DOGE style, you only have to look at local councils to see that this is not as easy as it sounds. And the reason that there are 'benefit scroungers' is that it's expensive to identify them, which is why governments don't do more to do so

All valid but I think the prevailing feeling is that nothing is working anymore, "they're all the same", "two wings on the same bird", so I think when someone offers to wipe the slate clean and start over, it appeals on a sort of meta-political level, you could argue the Brexit campaign as won using similar rhetoric, the idea that the sticking plaster needs to be ripped off, short term pain for long term gain.
I guess I can see that this is what people think. If they want to break everything, they're better off with the Greens, because at least they are promising nice things (which I doubt they can deliver).
