The pumping station was started in July 2022 and the works to connect the pumps to the drainage system were completed in August 2025.Call me cynical or a sceptic but my guess would be that was the reason for the delay. It seems odd that the road was by and large finished ages ago but the big pump station was only started on a shortish while ago.
