Mayenda doesn't have the physicality or seemingly even willingness to try at this level. Also we need to get the crosses on early instead of fannying around on the edge of the box.

Going to be difficult with a different team due to injuries etc., but I'd like to think we've got enough to get through this. Don't think it's going to be a pretty match to watch. Their pitch condition is like a ploughed field, so I'm expecting a scrappy stop start kind of match.

Yes players like Mayenda, Rigg and Diarra are premier league players but this is league 1 football. Port Vale are not gonna give you time on the ball, they're gonna be in your face, niggling like **** at you. Players need to man up, battle their opposite number to be able to play their game.

Diarra and Le Fee must be wondering what the **** is going on but we need someone in there to get hold of them. Would prefer if he stayed on the bench but we need Xhaka on from the second half. Alungo been our best player first half
