I was about to look up Axel, had just seen the Huntley one on the news, and as doing so came across this article from 4 hours ago ffs. I noticed yesterday when I walked pass a nursery they are having to lock these places up now when occupied because of these lunatics...

Polish kid arrested for killing his grandmother and stepfather in their sleep. There was a video of it he uploaded to the net after but couldn’t find it. Meant to be horrendous.

I had read during my search that he was in a solitary cell, food passed through a hatch, as he had attacked prison officers in incidents such as throwing boiling water at them.

No, this isn't true—it's an unverified rumour spreading only on social media with zero confirmation from the Ministry of Justice, Prison Service, BBC, Sky News or any other credible source. Axel Rudakubana remains in segregation at HMP Belmarsh for his own safety after prior threats. The attached image is a heavily edited version of his standard mugshot. Similar claims were officially debunked last year.

I had a theoretical question put to me last week , you're lying in hospital with days to live needing an organ transplant, Huntley was a registered donor and was found to be a match, would you take it?

Easy for me to say because I'm old, I accept I've had my life so do not fear what is to come. We all like to hold on longer if possible, but defo no not like that.

You aren’t that old. If Huntley’s kidney is the difference between another 15-20 years of seeing your grandchildren grow up, major life events for them, Gillingham in League One etc. just take the kidney.

My emotions are very odd tbph lol.

Gillingham FC are a bit like Groundhog Day, it might not seem like it (or maybe it does) but I don't get emotionally attached in that way.

Football is the entire event, hence why I like reading yours and Libbys adventures, and that guy on the Charlton board that time in Brazil and non league adventures, it's more than what just happens on the pitch.

I could never do those bubbles, that would just do my nut in. That would defo make me feel like dying. <laugh>
 
I actually thought @Gessa was going to ask if you didn't have long to live would you kill someone like Huntley if the chance came about. I often think that with some of these nutters, do the world a favour before I go. I can fully understand why lifers get to them... although we should never overlook the fact the lifers are also there for something they did.

Agree - the guy who killed him is not 'a hero' - the enormity of his own crimes is not diminished ... but he has rid the world of 'evil' and possibly, only possibly, given the girls families a degree of closure ... can only hope so ...

What if someone you knew and cared about but not super super close needed it. You don’t know and can’t find out if they want it but it’s on you to decide. Not someone you massively care about like a grandchild but we’re talking a second cousin or someone you were good mates with but haven’t spoken to for years.
