I wouldn't be playing Ellborg. If something happens to him, we would be playing Moore against Brighton!

I'm in 2 minds about what team to play in this one. Yes, I want us to play our strongest team and progress to the next round but I would also like to rotate players around for it to protect them for better opposition but since we're down to the bones squad wise I don't think that could happen. Might go along with Smug and play our strongest team but there will be players who I just wouldn't risk at all. That would include Xhaka and Ellborg for starters, although it would give Ellborg a chance to get more used to playing over here (aaaarrrgggghhhh!!!!) I would probably start with Wilson and have Mayenda on the bench. So my team will probably be

Moore
Jenson Jones O'Nien Geertruida Hume
Rigg Diarra
Le Fee
Angulo Isidore Talbi

do think we will see some younger players starting
which will be no disrespect to Port Vale,

just where we are at
Yeah I could see a couple of young uns starting, including Riggy. Otherwise very strong as RTB's update from the press conference suggests.

Problem there is Hume is banned,

why do they cut/end at stupid times
They have another 15 mins for local press ‘exclusives’ and then post the embargoed section on a separate video. The end point seems to be determined by time rather than at the end of a question.

Thank you RTB for the excellent thread.

To me have to go with strongest team possible.

If we can get the business done by half time or into the second half then make adjustments to suit.

These games are never normally easy especially away from home and on a pitch less than perfect.

Going for 0 - 2 to the lads....Big Dan and Enzo....

Regardless of who RLB plays we should be good enough.

I hope young Finn gets on the pitch at some point as it probably means the game is comfortable and the fact he has looked a beast in the U18/21s.

If young Riggy doesnt get on in this game I would suggest he is maybe gone in the summer. Hopefully not but have we progressed past him? He is still young tho and a valuable squad player imo.

1-3 to the cuddlies. Hopefully Isodor and Mayenda both get a goal for their confidence.

Cracking match thread as usual @RTB

Can see a few changes being made, but feels like we are going to give this a right go.

Personally id like to see Rigg starting in the middle and maybe Moore in goal
