Its only two seasons when many supporters on the old 606 were saying he was over rated, couldn't attack, had no pace etc. Now the guy has shown why PL brought him to the club.
 
i could NEVER understand those people who criticised russell martin. he NEVER made a single mistake in his first 6 months at the club yet people wanted to give him a rough ride. well now they all look like the dipsticks i said they were at the time. top, top player and thoroughly nice chap.

.........how sick must peterborough be feeling now, couldn't get into their team in the championship, now a star in the premier. wow!!!
 
I saw Russel with his partner in the Pound Lane Sainsburys after the QPR match. I congratulated him and left him to buying his bottle of wine as you could see they just wanted to get going. She was massive then so was wondering when/if she was going to give birth. Really made up for him - top bloke. :emoticon-0148-yes:
