Does anybody else think that the self goverance of the different boards is actually making the not606.com experience worse?

Just looking at today i've seen
- A Man U Mod delete anything that he disagrees with for very petty reasons
- At least one mackem mod edits other users posts if he doesn't like them

as far as i was aware this was not606.com - Comment - Debate - Create - freely

its going to the dogs when you have things deleted and even the words you've posted CHANGED!! it looks like other boards can't mod themselves like the Toon board can.

thoughts?
 
These MOD's need to be made aware to Mick, or even the 'Super Mod':emoticon-0169-dance and they should strip them of powers. No point in having people in power if they are just going to abuse it.

Oh contrare! We have a laugh, and we moan when situation dictates. Now Rooney being a ****, and this MOD's being a **** articles are space for a moan. Have a look at one of our many other threads (we have the most you know) and you'll see alot of good old fashioned debate! <ok>
 
I couldn't give a ****, our mods are ok and I never venture to the other boards......maybe the mackem one around derby day!

you have a very short memory my friend, remember this one? "the referee is being investigated for corruption" following our 4 goal comeback?? what about "NUFC didn't deserve a draw it must of been fixed"?

very true, however i popped over to the manc board to gauge their reaction about Rooney not getting a ban, and i couldn't read it because half of the posts were deleted
 
The manc board today is basically my first venture out, apart from telling the Hammers congrats on smashing the scousers. Find myself, in the middle of an attempt at decent banter, being bombarded by **** by jordan. Can't stand that ****
 
Posts were deleted because one of your posters said another should die.

Seems fair enough.

I think reasonable debate is ok everywhere, but if you troll someone elses board then you can't complain if it's deleted.
