Ray Manaj - not a player I would describe as a star, but I wish him a full and speedy recovery

I think there was more to him than we ever saw. He missed a couple of chances early doors and was struggling a bit with the system... then enter the booboys... Hardly a moralee or ellington!
Hope he fully recovers.

Terrible eh. Sadly the lifestyle of professional footballers can lead to affordability and access of these drugs..coupled with a binging high living mentality.
And a sense of futility after a career is over. What do you do after the adulation of scoring an amazing goal against Chelsea when you receive adulation from thousands? Suddenly there is nothing.
On a more mundane level, it's why many many die soon after retirement. Their purpose in life has gone.
