Winnable tie for Spurs too. This ain’t the Madrid Athletic team of old. The dream of playing Lincoln on Saturday then Barcelona on the Tuesday remains on.

That Champions League draw is a travesty. All the decent teams are on the left and Arsenal in theory have an easy run to the final... this format is a joke.

What's the point t of getting high in Champions League as it doesn't benefit top finishing teams.. Absolutely disgraceful format..

What they SHOULD do is get the uefa co-efficients of all the eight teams that qualify from the play-offs and rank them best to worst.

And then whoever finished 1st in the league stage, plays the worst ranked play-off winner. And so on.

Then one half of the draw has the 1, 4, 5 and 8 bracket rank ties in it. The other half has 2, 3, 6, and 7 bracket rank ties in it.

Balanced and fair and favours those that finish top eight. Done.

This might be the worst idea anyone has had since Custer. Utter modern woke nonsense. Might as well rank them on ****ing xG.
