Ooops just looked it up and found out it's a 3 match suspension. (mental note to self: always look these things up before posting not afterwards)

Vuckic came on against Swansea because he has been impressing Pards in training, so he should start. <ok>

Either Vuckic or Abeid again for me. Personally I would go for Vuckic as I think he will do more tracking back than the likes of Ben Arfa will and plus Abeid hasn't even made a sub appearance yet for the premiership, would be a bit harsh to fire him in at the deep end.

Alan Smith - Then if we get beat we at least get the comical value of seeing his hair. In all seriousness though I'd like to see Vuckic or Abeid given a chance. I'd go:

Krul
Simpson Perch Coloccini Santon
BenArfa Tiote Vuckic Gutierrez
Best Ba

With Abeid given a run out mid way through he second half.

I went for HBA, he's a creative player, and will maybe make some chances, whilst Cabaye is suspended. Jonas' dog is a good move, though i suppose Jonas will then be preoccupied having to pick up its ****.

Vuckic for me! I was very impressed with him in the pre-season, as others have said he has tremendous composure with the ball and some great technical skills.
Frankly, I don't see what 'creativity' Raylor has shown according to Tash? He did a decent job at LB, but I don't think he demonstrated exceptional vision or passing going forward, and now is a chance to let Vuckic show us what he can do

The only reason i thought raylor was playing was because Santon wasn't ready, and he's decent at set pieces. Didn't really impress me defensively either.

How about:

----------------Krul--------------
Simpson---Perch----Colo---Santon
----------------Tiote-------------
-----------Abeid----Vuckic-------
HBA-------------------------Jonas
-----------------Ba---------------

4-3-3?

Interesting. Would fix the Obertan issue. I think Abeid would drop back a lot and Vuckic would push forward leaving a 4-2-3-1

Krul
Simpson Perch Colo Santon
Abeid - - Tiote
Benny - - Vuckic - - Jonas
Ba

Looks good, but we all know it will never happen :(

I voted Abeid, purely because he's almost a like for like replacement of Cabaye passing wise, which is what we need.

He does have a very nice passing range, not sure Vuckic can match it, he's more of a technical attacker.

Against Senegal (I think), he was picking out people with some quality passes, a few of them were tight, first touch passes that went straight to the man. I know it will probably be Vuckic, but I'd rather we used Abeid purely because we'll need that vision.

I'll be happy either way, Abeid is probably the most similar but both a great young players. Genuinely excited to see one of them make their full debut.

Well we've already out-Stoked Stoke this season (feel rather sick saying that) <whistle>

Cant wait to get a proper look at Vuckic though, he's been hyped up as "ready" since about 2009 and is still only a teenager.

Why hasn't he been played then?
