As a cop it’s laughable the way they are portrayed on tv. I’ve even heard that Line Of Duty is close to reality. It’s nowhere near.
It’s when I watch medical dramas.
That’s not how things are down and notes/files aren’t that easily ready

Cracking watch this, started off well but fairly low key and been steadily building momentum. Proper entertainment.
Only thing I don't like about it is the name, should have just called it The Hedge Knight.
Been enjoying Small Prophets, the new show from writer/director Mackenzie Crook. Totally different story but very similar to Detectorists in terms of humour and general vibes.
I watched them all last week. Excellent in my opinion and completely agree about the Detectorists feel.
Watched Silent Witness last night.....big mistake! How is it that the Pathology and Forensics people run the investigation,telling the police what to do,and end up capturing the criminal?
Practice….they’ve been doing it for years, together with vicars, nuns, PI’s, people who solve puzzles …. you name it. I don’t know why we need a police force.
